So, for several months, I've been seeing !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for a 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6.

Kinja'd!!!

He's selling it for $9,995, and from what the ad says, it's only got 89k miles, is chock full of driving goodness. It is a steal for that price. So, I'm wondering, why has he been trying to sell it for months? Surely, some Alfa fanatic wants this thing desperately. What's the deal, here?

If a leak stopped someone from buying an alfa wouldn't they have been out of business long ago?

That said, I'd love to have it. Especially with that bumper guard. I'd feel like a metrosexual eurotrash mad max.

UM, you realize that this is the car that won the European Touring Car Championship race series in '82, '83, '84, and '85, right? I mean, it's not some droll, little, econobox that you'd drive ironically.

I don't really know. Doesn't mention anything about the title being clear, I guess. Doesn't mention what kind of "show winner" it is (demolition derby?) .. Just grasping here. Seems like you'd have meet the owner and the car in person, and make sure a thorough, thorough pre-sale mechanical exam is performed.

I suppose it's always possible not that many people in Utah are into mid-80s Alfas, I suppose.

Looks like water to me, as if it dripped off of the car. Likely from melting snow.

Not starting every fourth or fifth day hasn't even killed Alfa Romeo.

Yeah, no. I genuinely love these cars. It's just that their build quality is a bit…….lax

And I wouldn't drive it ironically. I would actually enjoy looking like a metrosexual eurotrash mad max. That's a good thing in my book.

There's only one way to find out...

Could have nasty rot underneath, but you'd think they'd have sorted that along with the paint.

Might not be worth the asking price. It could still be a nice car, but just not quite worth what he's asking.
